The Cyklon pepper is an Heirloom favorite across Eastern Europe for its medium-thin flesh, making for effortless drying into spices like chili powder and paprika. Originating from Poland, these fruits have become famous for their juicy and flavorful taste.
Cyklon pepper plants grow up to 4 ft. tall and bear good yields of 5” long conical pods that taper off to a point. These fruits mature from green to dark red and have smooth and shiny skin.
You’ll get mild heat along with some sweet and fruity flavors. Besides using this pepper for drying, the Cyklon can also be cooked or eaten fresh. Throw these into salads for added crunchiness, give your soup the mild spice it deserves, or infuse these peppers into your next homemade salsa!
